Looking to create an account, but not quite sure how to go about it? Just follow our detailed instructions and you’ll be up and running in minutes.
Steps
1. Register
First you’ll need to navigate to the product page. You can just click on the link in the last sentence, or, if you want to know how else you can get there, read on!
The easiest option is to go to the home page and click on “Students”:

On the Students page, scroll to the bottom and click on “Register Now”:

Another way to get to the product page is to go to any of the subject areas (e.g., Parts of Speech) and select “Register.” By purchasing one subject you will automatically purchase access to all of them.
2. Add to Cart
Once you’re on the product page, simply add the 4-year membership to your cart. You can only purchase one membership at a time.

Scroll down for a detailed description of what you’re purchasing.
3. Review Cart
Make sure you’re satisfied that everything in your cart looks good. If you have a coupon for a discount, you can enter it here. Please note that the coupon field is not for student course enrollment codes. If your instructor gave you a code so you can enroll in a class, you will enter that later. Once you’re ready, proceed to checkout.

4. Checkout Page
Fill out all the info requested before proceeding to pay via Paypal. Don’t worry–you don’t need to have a Paypal account to purchase. Also, we collect as little information as possible and we do not store your financial details.
If your institution of learning has a discount for students, it is important that you sign up with your school email address. Then the system will automatically apply a percentage discount when you proceed to Paypal. Ensure that you enter your email address correctly, as the discount is based on your email extension (e.g., @concordia.ab.ca or @kingsu.ca). Students at Concordia University of Edmonton (the author’s university) will receive free access this way.

5. Profile Page
Once your payment goes through, you will be redirected to your personal profile. Alternatively, you can always log in by going to the Login page. It often takes a few minutes for the courses to show up on your profile page, so please be patient.
6. Enroll in a Class
This step applies only to students whose teacher or parent needs to track their progress. On your Profile page, scroll down to the bottom and enter the 9-digit code you’ve been provided. Once you’ve entered it, your teacher can now see you in their list of students. It’s that easy!
