The 18th edition of The Chicago Manual of Style brings with it some important changes. We recently created a quick overview video that explains what's new, particularly in the area of citing sources.

We're also working on updating our own version of the guide. This means an extensive overhaul of two courses: the CMS guide and Using Quotations. The updated courses will be available mid-August.

A new edition of The Chicago Manual of Style is released only about once every seven years, so we see this as an opportunity to update, expand, and enhance our resources. We're adding tutorials on formatting figures and tables, on citing AI-generated content, and more. We're also adding a lot more video content.

If you have suggestions for new content, feel free to reach out. We're constantly working to improve our writing guide.
